November 23, 2007 - Victoria Airport Authority selects Pryde Schropp McComb, Inc. ALFA Airport Billing System to replace their existing software. ALFA will be used to manage all airport billing ranging from aeronautical charges such as landing fees and terminal fees to recurring fees such as terminal leases and concessions. Implementation and training will be carried out over the next 2-3 months. At completion, ALFA will interface with Sage Accpac's A/R module.

October 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. announces the completion of the reconstruction of Taxiway Alpha at the Grande Prairie Airport . This project was funded by the Federal ACAP program and included the complete civil/electrical reconstruction of Taxiway Alpha. Construction for this project commenced in June 2007.

October 2007 - The Municipality of Kincardine selects Pryde Schropp McComb, Inc. in association with MDA Aviation Inc. to prepare detailed Airport Vicinity Protection Mapping specifically designed to identify height constraints and instrument approach procedure impact areas in response to wind turbine and communication tower development pressures around the Kincardine Municipal Airport (CNS7). The resulting mapping will provide both the Municipality and developers with a consistent decision tool and development guidelines that protect the existing and future interests of the airport while reducing the time and investment in securing the proposed development approvals.

October 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. will provide airport civil and electrical engineering design and resident services for the rehabilitation of the pavements and lighting systems on Taxiways Foxtrot and Golf at the Windsor Airport, ON (CYQG). The project was approved for funding under Transport Canada’s Airport Capital Assistance Program (ACAP) and will also including partial funding by the City of Windsor. In addition, PSMI will provide landside electrical design and resident services for a high voltage cable replacement program at the Airport.

October 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. received approval to assist the Municipality of Sioux Lookout to implement Transport Canada’s Federal/Provincial Airport Zoning process for the Sioux Lookout Airport (CYXL). The work will include preparation of all relevant mapping, project management and managing the public consultation process. PSMI will also be launching their web based land use management software as part of this project to provide the Municipality with a comprehensive tool kit for simple and efficient management of the airport zoning bylaw. The software is part of more comprehensive airport operations and SMS tool kit that will be launched commercially in Q2 2008.

October 2007 - Bernhard Schropp, P.Eng., Vice President Airport Planning and Information Systems presents a workshop on airport obstacle limitation surfaces and potential impacts of objects on instrument approach procedures at the AMCO Conference in Niagara Falls, ON and the IAAE Airport Operations Conference in Winnipeg, MB. The presentations explored the makeup of obstacle limitations surfaces, their purpose and their limitations in particular related to protecting instrument approach procedure minimum decent altitudes. The presentations involved a number of 3 dimensional interactive displays and practical discussions including the potential impacts on airports due to the recent proliferation of wind turbines across Canada. Bernhard also included a discussion of various mitigations including Federal Aeronautical Zoning, Federal/Provincial Aeronautical Zoning, on-site monitoring using clinometers and laser measurement devices.

September 2007 - The Grande Prairie Airport Commission has chosen Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. to undertake the project management for the upgrades to the airports Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) program which includes the expansion of the Airport Maintenance Garage, a wireless crash alarm system between the FSS Tower and new fire truck bay and the installation of a new high speed automatic security gate, and procurement of a new ARFF vehicle, all of which are scheduled for completion by June, 2008.

September 2007 - PSMI has been retained by the Grande Prairie Airport Commission to undertake the full redevelopment and expansion of the terminal access road public parking lot. Scheduled for completion in summer 2008, the parking lot will have the capacity to accommodate approximately 775 vehicles.

September 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. completes the engineering design and tender administration for a new commercial hanger development expansion at the Sudbury Airport, ON (CYSB). The project includes an apron expansion, hangar lot grading and servicing along with various landscape improvements. The project has been made possible through funding from FedNor and Northern Ontario Heritage Fund. The Greater Sudbury Airport is experiencing an unprecedented demand for private and commercial hangar development and expects hangars to be under construction as early as November 2007. PSMI has also been retained to provide resident services during construction.

September 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. completes a comprehensive runway extension analysis and Airport Land Use Plan Update for the Lloydminster Airport, AB (CYLL). The analysis considered expanding the runway to serve a larger aircraft fleet mix including regional jets like the Canadair CRJ100/200 And Embraer 175in addition to the Boeing 737-700/800 and larger corporate jets. The work included identifying minimum and preferred land reserve requirements and an updated airport land use plan incorporating the proposed preferred runway extension configuration.

September 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. is retained by North Peace Airport Services (NPAS) to complete a comprehensive Airport Land Use Plan Update for the Fort St. John Airport, BC (CYXJ). The project will include a comprehensive inventory of existing conditions, stakeholder consultations and forecast updates. The proposed Land Use Plan is to provide a development guideline for the airport with an emphasis on airside and landside commercial development opportunities. The work includes a marketing kit and development guidelines and checklist.

August 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. has been retained by the Fort McMurray Regional Airport Commission to provide design and project management services for the proposed Fort McMurray Airport Expansion and Redevelopment Project. This $100 million project will include new airfield pavement/electrical facilities, an 8000m2 Air Terminal Building, and groundside/support facilities.

August 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. delivers the final Airport Land Use Plan for the Thompson Regional Airport, MB (CYTH). The report includes a comprehensive review of a new North Terminal and Commercial Development Area. The report confirms the preferred location of a new 5000+ sq. m Airport Terminal Building in addition to new airside support infrastructure including a primary apron, partial parallel taxiways and upgrades to parts of the secondary Runway 14-32. While the report provides a long-term development strategy for the airport, it also serves as a preliminary project definition document for the development of a new Airport Terminal Building, expanded commercial development and various other supporting infrastructure planned for implementation over the next 3-5 years.

August 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. is retained by the Regina Airport Authority (RAA) to complete a comprehensive update to their 2001 Airport Master Plan for the Regina International Airport (CYQR). PSMI and their primary team members including local consultants Derek Murray and Saunders Evans Architects will focus on protecting the airside systems and providing sufficient capacity for growth along with an emphasis on airside and landside commercial development opportunities. The project also includes the provision of a marketing kit for the airport along with development guidelines and checklists.

July 2007 - The British Columbia Ministry of Forests and Range has selected Pryde Schropp McComb, Inc. to provide engineering, project management, and construction services for the expansion and rehabilitation of its air tanker bases at Williams Lake, Castlegar, Kamloops, Puntzi Mountain, Revelstoke, and Victoria.

July 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. welcomes Aéroport Régional de Val d'Or to our growing network of ALFA Airport Billing Software Users. Val D’Or will now enjoy the benefits of automating their aeronautical billing process and reduce the time of administration and increase revenue due to a higher level of accuracy and speed at which the information can be processed and issued. The ALFA software includes a data conduit to Simply Accounting which provides a seamless integration of ALFA with the airports existing accounting system.

June 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. is awarded a 3 year project management, engineering and construction management contract by the St. John’s International Airport Authority (SJIAA). The project includes a significant number of infrastructure renewal and expansion projects including Runway 16-34 rehabilitation, Threshold 16 and 34 blast pads, PAPI 29, SSALR 16, CAT II ALSF-2 Runway 29 rehabilitation and a number of new low visibility system installations. PSMI will be joined by a local technical support network including Newfoundland Design Associates Ltd. (NDAL) and Jacques Whitford (JW).

May 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. was retained by the St. John’s International Airport Authority (SJIAA) to develop a low visibility operations master plan for the St. John’s International Airport (CYYT). The options analysis will include three alternatives which consider multiple and single low visibility routes and also low visibility routes in conjunction with runway centerline lighting. The outcome of this study will establish the priorities for implementation over the next 3 years as part of a larger infrastructure renewal program at the airport.

April 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb, Inc. has been chosen by the Saskatoon Airport Authority (SAA) to provide engineering design and resident services for two airside rehabilitation projects at the Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport, including the Rehabilitation of Runway 09-27, Taxiway Alpha (West), Taxiway Foxtrot and Construction of Apron VI/VII.

April 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb Inc. will provide airport planning services for the development of an updated Airport Land Use Plan at the Sioux Lookout Airport (CYXL), Ontario. The plan will include a commercial development strategy and information package for interested developers. A commercial development marketing information kit and land use approval checklist forms will form part of the deliverables of this project.

March 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb, Inc. is pleased to announce the 10 year anniversary of its ALFA Airport Billing Solution software and services. Since 1997 ALFA customers have expanded to over 30 airports in Canada and an additional 30 airports in the Caribbean and Europe. ALFA is responsible for processing aeronautical fees and managing contracts resulting in over $US125 million in annual invoicing for our airport customers. PSMI looks forward to announcing significant enhancements, technology partnerships and peripherals to continue to address revenue management needs of airports of all sizes and budgets.

January 2007 - Pryde Schropp McComb, Inc. is awarded a contract to replace the existing airport billing system at Charlottetown Airport, PEI with the ALFA Airport Billing Solution developed and supported by PSMI. Implementation is scheduled to occur in Q1-Q2 of 2007. PSMI welcomes Charlottetown to our ALFA community which now exceeds 30 airports in Canada and a total of over 55 airports which include our international installations.
